Advice is estimated as required and charged at £200 per hour.
Travel time is taken into account. The hourly rate excludes out-of-pocket expenses: parking, along with any overnight stays, plane or train fares, are charged separately as disbursements. Only working hours are charged, and a clear log is kept throughout — so you always know exactly what you're paying for.
For a property you're thinking of buying, a pre-purchase appraisal visit is charged on the same basis — usually a very small cost against a very large decision.
Getting involved early often saves far more than it costs — in problems avoided and money better spent.
